An unproduced screenplay written by Michael Rowney has taken home ‘Best Short Screenplay’ at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival.

‘Odilo Fabian or (The Possibility of Impossible Dreams)’ received one of three screenwriting accolades.

Michael, who wrote the screenplay late last year, said: “Winning this award was completely unexpected. Matthew entered my script as a surprise. It’s a first for us to win an award before we’ve even made a film, so we hope that this is the first of many more to come.”

The fantasy film tells the story of Odilo Fabian, an optimist on the outskirts of a town called Doubt, who uses wishes and nature to grow himself a real chance at love.
